Besides how expensive they are PER KID ($$$ 😳) … the dark backdrop, awkward posing, and goofy smiles … they don’t show who your kids really are in this season & you will never use them anywhere!
But sometimes it’s easier to have someone else help ya out — especially when it comes to taking pictures — someone who specializes in taking pictures of kiddos & capturing their true cuteness & sweet personalities.
But time flies ... the next thing you know you’ll be packing the car and sending your baby off to college & you’re going to want to remember just how sweet and tiny they were on their first day of school.

I’m so excited to be hosting the BGP Back-to-School Portrait Day to help ease the stress on the first day of school and give you a precious photo of your kids going back to school that you will cherish for years.

Well, you’re in the right spot! I welcome all newcomers! When it comes to choosing a family photographer I recognize it is a big decision since this is somebody who would be working closely with your family and with your children… I don’t take that lightly! These BGP Events are the perfect ‘meet and greet’ type opportunities — come and say hi! Whether you come to enjoy the whole event and soak it all in or just pop by for a quick picture, I would love to meet you and your kiddos in person!
Pre-K through high school seniors are welcome!
Yes of course! You’re in good company too! We have plenty of homeschoolers join us as a fun way to kick off and make the start of the school year extra special! I was homeschooled too and so I love being able to cheer on other homeschool families!
This is the most affordable way you’ll find to work with me; $22 for general admission into the event, which gets you 1 photo. If you think about it: $22 for a photo that will be enjoyed truly for generations for less than a latte and lunch (+ tip), a Madewell cotton t-shirt, a pair of jeans on clearance at Target, a tube of foundation, or something you add to your cart to get free shipping.
Totally understandable! If it is a matter of timing on the day of the event, you could honestly come in, take a photo, and be on your merry way in a matter of 10-15 minutes. While I would love it if you want to stay and enjoy the event, I do understand the challenge of coordinating busy schedules… so doing a quick pop by is totally fine!
If the date doesn’t line up with your schedule for this time, you will be missed. However, I do host BGP Events quite frequently. You can CLICK HERE to add you name to the waitlist to be one of the first to hear about the next BGP Event that I host.
