It is such a gift to be able to capture such a sweet season for the Carter Family!
A few weeks ago, the Carter Family welcomed their newest little girl, Moriah, to the family! They were eager to have fresh photos as a family of FOUR now! I could not stop gushing over these sweet girls the whole session and my heart still flutters when I look at these photos!!
Some sessions are just different… It was such a calm session. Camille was so giggly and playful, and Moriah was just so snuggly and content. It seriously made my job so easy!
I know so many families who avoid family photos with young children, because it is too overwhelming and chaotic. And I get it, family sessions are naturally a little more high-energy. But the photos are so precious! And although this season of life is full, it would be heartbreaking to let it pass by without photos to remember it.

But this is the real trick: The Carter’s brought Nathan’s sister, Trudzz, with them and it was such a good move! Since the girls knew and loved her, she was able to play with them, while I took a few photos with just Nathan and Abby. And her infectious laughter, could make Camille giggle like no one else!
It was so nice to have another person that girls loved and trusted at the session! It made the whole time so much more peaceful. I would highly encourage this for every family session!!
