Oh my goodness, do I have a treat for you today!! Little Ava’s Lifestyle Newborn Photos were a dream!! I couldn’t stop gushing over these photos as I was editing them & I’m so excited to be sharing them!
Two Ava’s lifestyle newborn photos on the blog?? Oh yes!! You may remember the Luis’ session from back in July … well, Lauren & Lindsay are good friends! And they happen to both have precious little girls named Ava… just a few months apart! So special! And such an honor to photograph both of their newborn photos!
There is something about these in-home newborn photos that are just so special!! Trying to make time stand still and capture what life looks like with your sweet little one, so tiny in your arms and in your cozy home. You just don’t want to forget the way little Ava’s head fits so perfectly in the palm of dad’s hand or just how tiny her little feet are and the birthmark on her toe … it’s all so special!
When we took these photos, Ava was about 3 weeks old! So sweet! Lindsay and I were talking about how much she has already grown and is changing! It really is wild how much these little ones grow in a year! There really is an urgency to have photos taken right away, before she keeps growing.
Lindsay & Nathan are the sweetest people! And such good parents now … so loving and gentle, and calm. As I was editing these photos, I just kept thinking it was such a peaceful session! So calm and easy. Ava would fuss here and there and they would just gently rock her back to sleep. And we would go right back to chatting and taking photos!
I still pinch myself that this is what I get to call work … visiting cozy homes, doting over precious little babies and good conversations with the sweetest parents—seriously a dream!!
