I took the Jette family photos last year and I am so so glad they reached out again! It is such a privilege to watch families grow and it’s an honor to capture them changing throughout the years!
I met the Jette Family in an American Sign Language class three years ago! Both Mark and Heather are deaf. When I met them, I absolutely fell in love with their sweet family!
Over the years, I have watched them (from a far) fight through Heather’s cancer, Mark working long hard hours at two jobs, and them raising a very sweet and energetic hearing two-year-old. The way they have walked through hardship with endurance and trust in God is remarkable. You can see genuine love and joy shine through everything they do, despite the deep and dark valleys they have had to walk through. I admire them so much and long for others to look at my life the same way as I look at theirs.
I am so glad they reached out again for photos. Heather has been in remission from cancer since February! Which is something worth celebrating! So excited to capture this exciting season for them!
Their little boy, Gallen, is almost 3 years old. I brought Daniel and Caitee to help out at the session and Gallen was obsessed with Daniel! (Note to self: Always bring Daniel to play with the little boys)
The two of them loved playing with all the fall leaves, and they found a baseball to play with. At one point, I turned around and Gallen was holding on to Daniel’s ankle sliding through the grass. Lol! If you have little boys, don’t worry Daniel will make sure they will have fun!
I’m so happy they were patient with me and my very rusty sign language! We definitely got creative with explaining the poses, but I am so glad we did! The Jettes family photos perfectly capture this sweet and full season with just the three of them!
