How The BGP Fall Family Portrait Event Came to Be

After hosting the BGP Back to School Portrait Day – there were SO MANY new faces around here and I have so enjoyed getting to know everyone! And with that came A LOT of requests to host a similar event for the Fall – so I hopped to it with brainstorming what that might look like. 

I emailed everyone a few days later introducing The BGP Fall Family Portrait Event – Luxury Petite Sessions. 

I decided to also debut the all new BGP ‘Done-For-You’ experience, where I walk my BG Moms through a completely stress free experience… Where we go over everything together from planning for the outfits to the Design & Ordering appointment; where they would see their photos for the first time, narrow down the favorites, decide how they want to display their photos, and order their artwork and Christmas cards. 

The goal was to not only give them a beautiful collection of new family photos but also to have artwork around their home all by December 1^st!!

And just like the Back-to-School Portrait Day – The BGP Fall Family Portrait Event at Morrison Ranch was a big hit! The waitlist for the dates to open filled up so fast! And when the event went live, the first few spots sold out within 7 minutes of it being open!! ?

So many sweet families and past BG Families signed up and it was so fun because this wasn’t my first time meeting most of them! Most families had attended the Back-to-School Portrait Day and the kids all recognized me … making the event extra fun!

Why Morrison Ranch?

I decided to host The BGP Fall Family Portrait Event at Morrison Ranch – since that is by far one of my most requested locations! And that is fine by me– Morrison Ranch is beautiful and one of my favorite places to shoot at! 

I love everything from the green grass, the white picket fence, and the trees! I love the way we are able to play with the glowy light coming through the trees – so dreamy!

The only hiccup of the whole event was right as I was finishing up the Clark’s sessions the sprinklers went off! The timing was perfect though … wrapping up one session and waiting for another one to start. No outfits were splashed, or camera gear harmed…. however, my curls did suffered a bit. Of all the things that could have gone sideways pulling off an event like this – I’ll take sprinklers any day!
