This was the fourth year in a row taking the Jette’s family photos!! How amazing is that? And, the Jette’s Queen Creek Wash family session this year was just as amazing as all the others!! Plus, the session was on Marc’s 50th birthday, so that made it extra fun!
The Jette’s are one of the sweetest families that I’ve ever met! Love just overflows out of them! Over the past few years, they have dealt with a lot… Heather has battled with cancer and sickness. But went into remission 2 years ago! And then soon after gave birth to Gabberylea! It has been amazing to watch how they have so joyfully walked through such a hard season and praised God the whole time! It is so exciting to see their family all healthy and well now! A really, beautiful redemptive story!
I met little Gabberylea last year at their session and it was so fun seeing her now as a little toddler. She was so sweet and snuggled with Heather almost the whole session and then would run around and play with Gallen. She didn’t even cry once!
Gallen is 4 now and has just as much energy and excitement as ever. Last year, he was all about trucks! Which is why it was so fun at their farmhouse session last year when he could play with the old tractors and trucks that were there. This year, he was so excited to play with dinosaurs! He took his toy dino with him everywhere! And then he would run around growling like a dinosaur and digging in the dirt! He is full boy and it is so fun!!
They really are the cutest kids!! It’s always fun to look back while I’m shooting and see them playing behind me!
Another smart move on Heather’s part was packing bubbles to blow behind me, while I was taking the kids pictures. For moms with littles, I highly recommended bringing some small eye-catching toy to your session that you know will make your kids smile!
It was a perfect day for their session! The Queen Creek Wash is beautiful! Unfortunately, it has lost a few trees with all the storms this year! But that didn’t stop us from getting some really amazing photos of their family!
