I am so excited to share with you our Queen Creek Wash family session!! Once a year, I get the opportunity to switch roles and be in front of the camera for a change! And it is so good to be refreshed and reminded of what it is like being in my client’s shoes.
Planning for a session, choosing outfits, (coordinating outfits for six is no small task…), hair, makeup, the rush of getting to the session, and then once your finally there, that feeling of ‘what should I do with my hands’ comes flooding back! It’s so good to be reminded of what my clients are experiencing before they even arrive!! I always tell my BG clients that once they get to the session, all their hard work is done… I’ll take over for them! And it was so nice to experience that with Olivia!! (For the most part… I don’t think anything can be done about my silent backseat posing)
Olivia Sanchez took our family photos again this year and we LOVE them so much! Olivia and I swapped family sessions again this year. She took our family photos last year (also at Queen Creek Wash) and then I took her maternity photos back in January. I’m looking forward to taking their family photos again in November, now that they are a family of four!
Whenever anybody needs a location, I’m always quick to suggest Queen Creek Wash… It’s pretty much a photographer dream land! The light-colored sand, the tree bark is light colored, and I call them twinkly trees, because their leaves sparkle when the wind blows… throw the glowy light in there and I’m in heaven! It’s rare to find such a beautiful green location, being in the Arizona desert, so I love to take advantage of this gem!!
