Slowly but surely my fall season is picking up speed and with each session the anticipation grows! September’s Downtown Gilbert Mini Sessions were so amazing … almost a teaser for what’s to come in the next couple of months!

It’s really crazy to think we are officially in the back half of these 2025 minis! I remember sitting down in January planning them all out. They were just an idea & a dream.
It felt a little ambitious to host a mini session day every month and now here we are … My fall calendar is just shy of being completely booked out with a mini session day every Saturday AND one weekday each month!! You guys!! That’s so unbelievable! By popular demand, I just keep adding dates. And I’ve hit the point where I have no more dates to add.

What Made These Downtown Gilbert Mini Sessions So Special
With each session that passes, it is so fun to watch it come to life! The photos have been even dreamier than I imagined they would be when I penciled the date and location down on my calendar. And the names written on each time slot have quickly shifted in just a 20-minute session from a client to a very sweet family—friends even!
So it’s safe to say I’m excited to be sharing these Downtown Gilbert Mini Sessions and I can hardly wait for what’s to come this fall!!
It’s been a while since I last had a session at Downtown Gilbert. You may not have noticed, but green grass and trees tend to be my favorite spots. But I got to say—it was so fun to shake it up and shoot in an urban location!
Behind the Scenes:
There have been a lot of changes at Downtown Gilbert recently, so we found some new beautiful spots and somehow managed to make it look like we were completely alone there—despite it being Saturday evenings AND HOMECOMING!! Oh boy!!

These sweet families handled it like pros! It’s never easy standing and posing for photos with lots of people around and looking at you—but you all rocked it, and all the kiddos were so patient! These photos are such a win on so many levels!
