2025 Mini Sessions:
After a handful of coffee chats with some of the sweetest BGP moms, survey responses, and LOTS of inquiries, it was clear that moms need a way to be able to capture family photos quickly and without any stress … in beautiful unique locations. Something that could be available all throughout the year …

So in January, I sat down with my calendar and …
- Penciled in a mini session day almost every month
- Brainstormed all my favorite places to shoot at that are a little unique & very kid-friendly.
- And mixed my ‘Sessions-to Heirloom’ process into it, so that every step of it from booking and styling your session, to printing your photos in ways you will enjoy for years was easy, fast, & mom-friendly!
And oh boy, I am so happy to report that it is going really well & so many of you are loving it! You can learn more about my 2025 Mini Session HERE and check out the upcoming mini session dates!
The Make-Shift Motherhood Event:
Last year, I hosted the 2024 BGP Motherhood Event and it was a hit!! However, this year in the mix of it all, between mini sessions, full session, and real-life, my calendar looked like it had been hit with a confetti cannon and I just didn’t have enough time in my schedule to host it again this year. So, I was planning on letting it quietly sneak by without saying anything, but after getting so many questions from those who attended and missed it alike … I knew we needed to do something & couldn’t leave you all hanging.
So, I decided to open up the Rose Garden Session as a Make-Shift Motherhood Event. And it was such a joy to not only take the sweetest family photos but also get to photograph so many sweet mommy & me photos! What a special Mother’s day gift … photos of you with your little loves in a rose garden … a dream! And the best part was that with it being a smaller event, I got to spend a little more time with each family! And it is such a joy to get to work with such sweet BG Families!!
If you want to stay in the know of when small little pop-up events are happening, be sure to join the email list so you don’t miss a beat:
In addition to all the sweet families and mommy & me photos, I also got to take a few senior photos for Caitee here!! And the whole time, I just kept saying “I wish I took my photos here!” They are absolutely stunning!! You can check out her full senior blog HERE.
About the Rose Garden Mini Session:
It’s been a while since I’ve last shot at the rose garden. The Rose Garden is at Mesa Community College and it’s run by volunteers & oh boy am I so grateful for them! It’s such a beautiful little spot, not just for photos, but as a little oasis just to enjoy!
With it being a warmer & dryer spring, the roses were slower to bloom. I went down there a couple times in March to check on the roses. And, on one of my visits, I started chatting with a sweet lady who was gardening there, and she said that they should be in all their glory mid-April. So, I decided to open up TWO more days on April 4th & April 12th!
So, I got to take photos at the rose garden 3 weekends in a row … hello, dream job! Every weekend there were so many more roses!! There are over 9,000 different roses in this garden … And it looked like we were in a sea of roses shooting! Stunning!!
Okay! That was a lot of catching up … it could have been a whole blog on its own! Without further ado: The dreamiest Rose Garden Family photos (with a few mommy & me AND senior photos!! Happy scrolling, friend!
