I’m extra fun with caffeine.

Sundays with family are my happiest days.

My perfect morning consists of an early morning sunrise, coffee, and quiet time with Jesus.

I could binge on chocolate, cookies, and “The Office” all night long.

Grease and Mamma Mia are my jam.

My ideal night is sitting around the fire pit and pool with my girlfriends.

My favorite trip has been to the Big Island, Hawaii, but my dream trip is Copenhagen, Denmark.

I want to say I love living out in the country, but I really enjoy picking up a latte at the Starbucks on every corner.

Christmas Family Photos

Well, I paused the Christmas festivities over here & woke my camera up from it’s (not so very) long winter nap to capture some very sweet Christmas family photos this weekend!

And oh my goodness, it turns out Gibert, Arizona can have fall leaves!! I spent most of November photographing minis here (You can see those photos HERE) & it was the same beautiful green location! From the minute I pulled up, I couldn’t stop gushing over it! I’ve gotten so used to having to *go* visit other places to see seasons. It was such a treat to get to take photos in all of it’s golden, autumn glory! I couldn’t get enough of it!

We were planning on right after Christmas packing up the tree & and lights and heading up north to bring in the New Year from the cabin. But when both, Terry & Kimberly reached out asking about Christmas family photos because this was the *only* weekend when everyone would be together I just couldn’t say no. So, we decided to postpone our trip a few days.

It really is an opportunity you just can’t miss, taking photos while everyone is all together. I know just how tricky it is to line up so many schedules and who knows when it will happen again! So many families flew in from all over the country, it was so special to photograph that for them!

The Webb Family

It was such a treat getting to take the Webb’s family photos! Kimberly & Brad are good family friends of ours from church. Such fun, easy people to spend time with! We always end up sitting next to each other in church! After so long of hearing about their kids & their spouses it was so nice to finally get to meet them in person! Jordan & Lindsey had just arrived from Chicago the day before & it worked out perfectly for Brad’s mom, Judy, to be in a few of the photos before she headed back home the next day!

The Smith Family

Jeff and Terry have been married for forty years. They moved here together in April, and then in June, Jeff left for Japan to help train the Air Force there! This session was extra special, because the kids were seeing Grandpa for the first time in six months. They call him Gecko … That was Jeff’s call sign during his 20 years in the Air Force, and Maia couldn’t quite say “Grandpa”… so Gecko stuck.

Not only that, but they now have TWO more grandbabies … born just a few weeks apart! So it was some of the cousins’ first time meeting too!

It was such an honor to capture such a big reunion for them! With a crowd this big, I felt like I was instantly one of them! Between grandpa’s jokes, laughing with the girls, and the challenge of making 6 littles all smile at once, there wasn’t a dull moment!

I’m still amazed by all these fall leaves!! I’m taking a note, that if you want Autumn photos, hang tight until the end of December! This was the best way to bring my 2025 sessions to a close!! Enjoy scrolling through these two family Christmas photos!
