It truly is an honor to get to photograph families year after year and watch them grow. But it’s extra special that I get to do that for my brother, sister-in-law, and their growing family! I am so excited to be sharing Adam & Aubrey’s Morrison Ranch Family Photos!
If you’ve been a part of my little world for a while now, you may remember I took their photos last year just before Everly was born … you can check out that blog here! And then, when she was just a few weeks old we went out and took a few more.
I can hardly believe it, but we just took Everly’s 1-year-old photos!! I have to say, I have a whole new understanding for 1-year-old sessions now. After getting to sit on the sidelines and watch this sweet girl grow for a year, I now understand that it’s so much more than just a good photo!
You want to capture every last bit of her adorable personality! You want a photo showing how she sits & can lift her toes way up to her head. We need a photo of her scrunched nose, her wonky monkey crawl (that will probably be the only crawl she does, before she walks!), the way her eyes squint when she laughs … the way she leans into mom and feels so cared for, one where you can see the love and friendship between them, the way she thinks dad is the funniest person in the whole world!
It’s been SO fun watching Adam & Aubrey become parents!! AND, they are expecting their second in January … a little boy!! He is actually due January 26th … the day after my birthday … What an amazing birthday gift!
It ended up POURING rain on Friday … the day we originally planned for their session! It stormed the entire weekend! And it cleared up just in time for our family photos on Sunday … you can check out those photos HERE. By the time Monday came, the ground was dry and it was *perfect* weather! And Everly was in the best mood! I always hate rescehduling session, because I know it is so much work for the moms, but we couldn’t have been happier with how it turned out!
