Feeling so much pride for my home state sharing these Arizona Desert minis today!! I was born & raised in Arizona and let me tell you the desert showed off for these photos! Between how lush it was and the glowy light these photos are absolutely stunning!!

And now October’s Arizona Desert Minis!! When people would ask for photos of the location, I would send them the Delany’s blog … a beautiful desert, but in the fall it’s not nearly as vibrant as in the Spring.
I was in for a surprise when I got there! I’m not sure I’ve ever seen the desert so green & vibrant before!! I’m so grateful for all this rain we’ve been having!! The desert is so healthy and alive; it’s wonderful! I’m crossing my fingers that we will continue to get lots more rain this fall and winter, so hopefully we can have lot’s of desert poppies this spring!
These Arizona Desert Minis Perfectly Capture These Families’ Stories
As I got talking to everyone, I found so many families just moved here and wanted to have photos that really show this new season! I just love that! So special to welcome in so many new families!
And others who have called Arizona home for years just wanted your ‘traditional Arizona Christmas card.’ We kept laughing at the irony of sweaters out in the desert … as we were quite literally breaking a sweat!
All these families really did outdo themselves with their outfits! You really can’t go wrong with colors in the desert since it’s such a neutral backdrop. And the fall tones just popped! But maybe my favorite was how well all the girls style their boots! I’m really feeling tempted to add cowgirl boots to my Christmas wishlist. And now, I’ve got a whole blog full of inspo photos when it comes to styling them!
These Arizona Desert Minis were one for the books! I can hardly believe we’ve got one more blog left of this series!! Where did this year go?
