I’m giddy about sharing the Velez’s family photos today! These Scottsdale desert family photos are so beautiful!! Dare I say it … some of my favorites this fall!!
Gabby emailed me saying she’s been trying to have family photos taken for years, but the process just always gets too complicated & overwhelming and it never would get done. “And now our oldest is 5, so I’m determined to make it happen this year.”
And oh my goodness, everything came together so seamlessly … “We happen to be free Oct. 31st in the morning, any chance you are available?”
“Yes, let’s do it!” and within 5 minutes, we had the date and location planned … and the Velez family showed up looking amazing!
Gabby & Josh are the kindest people! They are high school sweethearts, celebrating their 10 year anniversary this November! What a joy to freeze time and honor a decade of love and legacy! Celebrating with photos of them with their two sweet little girls!!
A Peek into the Velez’s Scottsdale Desert Family Photos
Their session was so peaceful! The morning sun rising, pausing to watch road-runners and listen to birds chirp … the biggest challenge? Twirling in their beautiful dresses on uneven ground. But it made for some good giggles and even better photos! Lydia & Evelyn are so sweet! And I just love how close they are! This session felt more like playing than it did work—the best way to start a day!!
I’ll be honest the last time I took photos here, it was so challenging between the harsh light and how crowded it was. I told my mom before I started this session, my one goal was to redeem this location … and ohh boy did we ever!! The mountains, the cactus, the morning light, & the sweetest family … everything was perfect!! I couldn’t stop ohhing and awwing over the photos while I was editing them!
Everything about the Velez’s Scottsdale desert family photos turned out amazing!! Even Josh left saying how much fun it was! Which maybe was the biggest win! Enjoy scrolling through their beautiful photos!
