I’m extra fun with caffeine.

Sundays with family are my happiest days.

My perfect morning consists of an early morning sunrise, coffee, and quiet time with Jesus.

I could binge on chocolate, cookies, and “The Office” all night long.

Grease and Mamma Mia are my jam.

My ideal night is sitting around the fire pit and pool with my girlfriends.

My favorite trip has been to the Big Island, Hawaii, but my dream trip is Copenhagen, Denmark.

I want to say I love living out in the country, but I really enjoy picking up a latte at the Starbucks on every corner.

Argitopia Farm Family Photos | The Throckmortons Session

I am so excited to be sharing The Throckmorton’s Argitopia Farm Family Photos today! This is my second time taking their family photos and they are one of the sweetest BG Families! I took their photos when Aiden was only 6 months old … and he just turn two last week! Click HERE to see their last session!

It is always so sweet getting to watch littles grow up and capture their photos each year! Aiden is the sweetest little boy – so playful, curious (yet very cautious of me), and all boy! He was so excited about exploring all of Argitopia Farm and looking at all the different plants, flowers, chickens, dirt, and rocks! It was a perfect day at Argitopia Farm!

Both at our last session and this session, Courtney reached out saying that Aiden has the world’s best smile and that she just really wanted that captured! At first, Aiden took some time to warm up to me and the idea of having his picture taken. I always say it takes a couple minutes for all of us to get to know each other, before we start to get really great photos. And that’s totally normal… especially for littles, as I try and see what they are into and what will make them smile. It’s a fun little game figuring it out. For some kids it’s dinosaurs, others it’s playing peek-a-boo or baby, or evening tooting noises…. We tried all our tricks.

But for Aiden it is bouncing! Nathan or Courtney would toss him in the air a couple of times, and Aiden would belly laugh! And not only does he have the best smile, his laugh is even cuter!!

We spent the whole session bouncing, swinging, and jumping and it worked great! We would bounce then quickly get situated in a super sweet pose and snap the perfect picture!

The Best-Kept Secret for Sessions with Toddlers

At their last session, Courtney’s Dad came to help and for this session for Courtney’s Mom came! She has the sweetest parents! Both of them are so easy to talk to and such a huge help!

If you are preparing for a session with a toddler, this is the best advice I would recommend! Bring someone who your child is comfortable around and loves, and they can help out during the session! Not only was she able to be an extra pair of hands to carry bags and give snacks, but was able to give Aiden breaks, play with him, make him smile. Which also gave us extra time to take photos of just Nathan and Courtney together!

Andddd, Courtney’s mom was able to jump in at the end and get a few of her and Aiden together – so sweet!

We have SO MANY good photos from their session!! Enjoy scrolling through the Throckmorton’s Argitopia Farm Family Photos!
