I’m extra fun with caffeine.

Sundays with family are my happiest days.

My perfect morning consists of an early morning sunrise, coffee, and quiet time with Jesus.

I could binge on chocolate, cookies, and “The Office” all night long.

Grease and Mamma Mia are my jam.

My ideal night is sitting around the fire pit and pool with my girlfriends.

My favorite trip has been to the Big Island, Hawaii, but my dream trip is Copenhagen, Denmark.

I want to say I love living out in the country, but I really enjoy picking up a latte at the Starbucks on every corner.

Oh friends! I am so excited to share these Veterans Oasis family photos with you!

Courtney and I met at her sister Abigail’s Maternity Session, when she came to be an extra pair of hands and watch Elise in between photos! I love when families bring someone who the littles already know and love to help during the session! It makes everything so much simpler! They can get genuine smiles from the kids and the parents are able to get a few photos with just the two of them, knowing their children are in good hands!

So, it was fun that Courtney was able to be there and get to see what my sessions look like from a different perspective and then she reached out for family photos with her family!

Courtney and Nathan have been married for six years now! And little Aiden is 6 months old and just so precious! He is the sweetest little boy!! Courtney said that she really wanted photos that capture how joyful he is! And I can see why… he is all smiles! But as soon as I popped the camera up, he would shy away. However, we still managed to pull out a few sneaky tricks to capture his sweet smile!

I just love how much Courtney treasures these photos! You can tell just by talking to her how important it is to capture Aiden in this season and all of his joy before he grows anymore! She really wants to look back and see his smile and how cute he is trying to sit up and all of their families’ adorable candid moments together.  I am so honored to be able to capture all those really sweet moments for them! And I am beyond grateful that I get to work with families that see the value in having pictures taken before the seasons change!

Courtney and Nathan are super easy going and very laid back! Their session was so simple and easy! I loved just walking around and chatting with them!

She was telling me all about how she is transitioning from Adult ICU to pediatric surgical center. You can so easily tell by talking to her how big her heart is for these patients! So empathetic and sweet, that her heart would break for all the ICU patients and their families!  She is really looking forward to this new position! How blessed all those families and little kids will be to have her as their nurse!

I hope you enjoy scrolling through all of their sweet Veterans Oasis family photos!
