It felt so good to be back behind the lens for Angela’s brand photos this week! Such a good way to spark my creativity and warm up before the spring season comes on full force!
Angela is another super-talented wedding and family photographer in Gilbert, Arizona! And she reached out to me after finding out we are both in the same mastermind. So nice to be able to talk through some of the business sides of things, with someone going through the same experience as me… and it’s even better when they are local!
Photographing photographers is such a cool experience. It’s both a joy and an honor to come alongside someone who shares the same craft as you. And It’s so special to create beautiful photos that showcase the incredible experience they provide for their clients! Angela has been hard at work serving both her wedding clients and families, while also upleveling her client experience and her website!
Our Goal for the Session:
The main goal we had in mind for Angela’s sessions was to give her a library of images that elevated her brand as a whole. She has crafted this incredible experience and it was just waiting to be celebrated and shown off in these new brand portraits.
When we talked about her ideas for the session, she knew she wanted these photos to match her work. So we kept the same fine art, romantic and dreamy feel in them. She also mentioned how she is transitioning into a destination photographer and wanted photos that showcased her traveling. She was looking for areas that looked very European, with columns and some cool architecture. When she stumbled across the Gilbert Temple with the gorgeous columns, gold and stained-glass windows, and beautiful landscaping… she knew it would be perfect for her photos.
