There is something almost urgent about photos. Time moves by so surprisingly fast and it seems to change almost everything about life. Most of the time change is anticipated and exciting, but sometimes it is a bittersweet to see one chapter end and a new one begin. That is why I am so glad we were able to have the Buschen’s downtown family photos taken right away.
Amy, a single mom, reached out to me in the spring to have photos taken of her and her boys before their life would have another big change. The weather was beautiful and I am glad we were able to have the Buschen’s downtown family photos captured before the world closed up for quarantine.
She wanted these photos done right away because her oldest, Caleb, was graduating and heading off to the Navy.
To capture who they were in that season of life and their relationships, in a photo is so valuable and something their family will always treasure.
As excited and proud as Amy and Elijah are for Caleb’s graduation and enlisting in the navy, it will be bittersweet to see him off.
Buschen Family,
It was a joy to take these photos for you and capture this treasured season of life. I wish you all the best as your family moves through these next few months of transition. Although Caleb’s high school years have ended differently than planned, it will be exciting to see where life takes him next.
