I’m extra fun with caffeine.

Sundays with family are my happiest days.

My perfect morning consists of an early morning sunrise, coffee, and quiet time with Jesus.

I could binge on chocolate, cookies, and “The Office” all night long.

Grease and Mamma Mia are my jam.

My ideal night is sitting around the fire pit and pool with my girlfriends.

My favorite trip has been to the Big Island, Hawaii, but my dream trip is Copenhagen, Denmark.

I want to say I love living out in the country, but I really enjoy picking up a latte at the Starbucks on every corner.

Lyndi & Brandon’s Gilbert, Arizona Wedding

I am so excited to be sharing Lyndi & Brandon’s Gilbert, Arizona Wedding Day on the blog today! I know I mentioned this in their engagement session blog, but the two of them are just such a joy to be around! It was such an honor to capture their special day and meet their friends and family. You can tell everyone was just so excited for the two of them!

When I first met with Lyndi & Brandon over coffee, they told me how they originally wanted to elope… but they were sad at the thought of their families not being there with them for such a big occasion. So, they decide to have a small, intimate wedding… with their closest friends and family. Their ceremony was at Freestone and then their reception was hosted at the Spectrum at Val Vista. And it was just perfect!  From the weather to the toasts to the vows… I’m not sure we could have special ordered anything so wonderful for them!

Their ceremony was in the morning, and then their reception wasn’t for a couple hours later in the evening. Which not only meant that I had a nice break in the day, but it also meant that we were able to meet at the Riparian Preserve for their ‘Just Married’ portraits, in the glowy light before their reception.

When we arrived at the Riparian, it was PACKED with photographers shooting family sessions for the holidays… which made it so tricky to find parking! By the time we were actually shooting, we had about 15 minutes left! But Lyndi & Brandon were seriously the BEST and remembered all the poses from their engagement session!! They were modeling PROS! And, we were able to take A TON of portraits in a small amount of time!!

This is why I always recommend that my BG Couples have an engagement session before their wedding. The engagement session gives my BG Couples the chance to learn the poses ahead of time! It is not only fun to get to know each other and have extra photos together, but it ensures that they will get so many more portraits on their wedding day! While we were shooting their ‘Just Married’ portraits, it felt as if the fact that they are now officially MARRIED seemed to sink in more and more! Which was so special!

It was an absolute honor to capture their Gilbert, Arizona wedding! I still pinch myself sometimes when I consider how amazing it is to be trusted with capturing such a cherished day! Enjoy reliving their wedding day through my eyes!!!
