This session was just as sweet as it looks! I spent the morning with Lyndi and Brandon at Morrison Ranch with all the beautiful trees, green grass, pond, and the silos. It was my first time shooting at Morrison Ranch in the morning, and I LOVED it! I usually shoot in the evening, just before sunset. But I’m so glad Lyndi & Brandon were able to meet in the morning and braved the cold like troopers! It amazes me how just by switching up the time of day we shoot, it changes everything and allows me to be even more creative with a location that I love and get to shoot at all the time!
Lyndi was good friends with Brandon’s cousin in college. And then one day when Brandon showed up with his cousin to their church group, Lyndi turned to her friend and said “oh, so that’s your hot cousin?!” They were saying later that Brandon convinced Lyndi to go on a camping trip with all their friends after offering to drive. And that trip was when they really hit it off and started dating! And they just celebrated their one-year anniversary a couple months ago!
Brandon proposed to Lyndi while they were off-roading. He told her that one of their friends wanted to practice taking pictures out in the desert. So, they were all dressed up and met her for photos and that’s when Brandon surprised her and popped the question!
Lyndi and Brandon are the most easy-going couple! And so much fun to be around!! It was the best way to start the day! It is such an honor to be the one that get to capture this special season of their lives! Enjoy their Morrison Ranch engagement pictures… especially the last few, when the gorgeous glowy light came out!!
