I’m so excited to be sharing our Morrison Ranch family photos with you!
This is a big year for the Grondin Family – my older brother, Adam, got married this past June – so this is our first year taking family photos as an *extended* family of SEVEN this year!
For the first time, we coordinated outfits with two households, more schedules to work around, and all our groupings got a facelift – to think this is the easiest it will ever be! So, kudos to all of you big extended BG Families who make it all look effortless! What wonderful problems to have!
I will say I am quite proud of how smoothly everything went! From styling outfits all the way to dinner after the session everything was a breeze!!
If you have been following along with me here then you might know that about two years ago, after reading The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry by John Mark Comer, we started taking a sabbath consistently. (You can read more about my takeaways from the book HERE)
Our Morrison Ranch family photos were on a Sunday this year. So, we spent Saturday getting everything done, closed, and ready so we could rest on Sunday. And for the first time, we had everything for family photos done and ready on Saturday. Outfit choices finalized, dresses steamed, laundry done, even the dinner for afterward ready in crockpots to be enjoyed.
And it was so nice!! We were able to just rest and enjoy our day and slowly get ready for photos. Everyone was done and just hanging out waiting until it was time to leave! This meant we didn’t arrive to the session stressed and slightly upset with each other, but relaxed and happy with each other. And you can absolutely see that in the photos!
It just makes me even more excited to now be offering my full-service luxury portrait experience! Where I help you with everything from planning for your session, wardrobe assistance, and coordinating hair and makeup, all the way through the Design & Ordering Appointment — where I help you choose how you want to display your photos in your home & make that dream a reality!
The heart behind BGP has always been how can I make this a truly stress-free and enjoyable experience for you as the mom. Because I believe having photos in this season is far too valuable to give it up because of an overwhelming process.
My hope is that my BG Families would get to experience that same enjoyable family photo experience… family photos should be an event, a fun family memory, and a tradition.
Over the years, taking family photos has become more of an event for us than anything. And we all absolutely love it! We came home and enjoyed the most amazing Fall Feast (because why not enjoy all those fall flavors more than just once!) And picked our Secret Santa’s, the best way to kick off the Fall & Christmas season! (Check out this IG Reel here… for a peek into our night)
I’m so excited to share our Morrison Ranch Family Photos (now with Aubrey!!) with you! And I’m so grateful for Olivia Sanchez for capturing these photos for us!! Enjoy scrolling through them!!
