I am so excited to be sharing the Williams’ Veterans Oasis Family Photos!
If you have been following along here from the beginning then you may recognize Brittany & Ryan from back when I took their wedding photos in 2020 at the Raven Golf Course! So crazy to be back taking photos of them now as parents!!! It was such a joy to get to meet sweet little Madison, who is just precious! Not only that, but I also got to know the rest of Ryan’s family and take all their photos!
They all flew in from Vancouver and wanted to surprise their parents, Gerry & Sylvia, with photos of their TWO newest additions, Ty and Maddison! Kyle & Beth just welcomed Ty into the world 4 months ago!
We learned after my niece was born just how quickly your family photos become dated, and you desperately need these sweet new babies in the photos! Such a lovely surprise for the grandparents … something they will cherish for years! It’s never lost on me just how much of an honor it is to get to capture extended family photos … so many blessings in one photo! And this was definitely one of those moments, something so special about seeing their arms so full of newborns!
Jack is the oldest grandkid & oh boy was he fun!! Such a good big brother! I wish you could have seen his face when he found out I had the same name as his mom! And he was more than willing to trade smiling for a photo in exchange for a rock to throw in the creek! The cutest thing was when he asked if he could try taking a picture with my camera … and he rocked it!! A future photographer, maybe??
We took their photos at Veterans Oasis Park! We were worried about the weather with having had such a rainy weekend before, but everything was beautiful and all that rain made the desert really come alive! Blue skies & sunny! The only challenging thing was battling the wind, but considering all the ways this could have gone haywive with this big of a session, a 4-year-old & 2 newborns … I’ll take a little wind!
