I am so excited to be sharing Abby & Jordan’s Andaz Scottsdale Resort Wedding on the blog today! Their wedding day was absolutely perfect! Beautiful clear skies all day which made for the perfect Spring wedding in Arizona. And the day ran so smoothly!
Their wedding was very sweet and intimate! Abby and Jordan chose not to have a bridal party and they shared such a sweet first look. Which meant that we had so much extra time in the timeline for portraits of the two of them!! And these two were so photogenetic and classy, it made for so many amazing photos!!
How Abby & Jordan Met
Abby and Jordan met when they were both on separate bar crawls. He was dressed as a 90’s cartoon character… they said he was wearing a belt on his head and underwear outside of his shorts. She was with one of her girlfriends and she walked up to him and asked ‘Which one of us do you think is more approachable?’ He responded saying Abby was obviously more approachable and that started a conversation that went well enough to merit a first date. They had their first date at Postino’s. And then this weekend, they hosted their rehearsal dinner at Postino’s.
So many of their family and friends flew in from out of state so they had the wedding at Andaz Scottsdale Resort. It was nice because everyone made a weekend out of it, hanging around the resort. During the morning of their wedding, everyone was hanging out at the pool. And then they set out enough food in Abby’s bridal suite that people would just pop in and say hi and hang out for a bit before they had to go get ready. It was fun seeing just how close everyone was!
Gifting the Bouquet
I loved Abby’s sweet relationship with her parents. You can tell they are all so close. Her and her mom couldn’t help but become teary when they would look at each other. And at the end of the night instead of doing a bouquet toss, she gave her mom her bouquet as a way to say thank you for everything… so special! And then Abby and her dad shared the sweetest first look together and he officiated their wedding. It was so sweet during the ceremony he would lean in and whisper to each of them. And would rub their back and arm during their vows… such an intimate and sweet ceremony! You can so easily see just how loved Abby and Jordan are by their friends and family!
It was an absolute honor to capture Abby & Jordan’s Andaz Scottsdale Resort wedding! And it was amazing to work alongside and second shoot for Olivia Sanchez and Pinkerton Photo Associates again. Enjoy scrolling through Abby & Jordan’s beautiful wedding day!
