What a whirl wind this past few days have been … in the very BEST way possible! I last minute thought it could be fun to host a Back to School Portrait Day at Argitopia Farm. Moms could bring their kiddos who are going back to school to capture a quick photo of them with their first day of school outfit and backpack on. I had no clue if this was something families would want, but I put it out there to see if anyone would be interested and let me tell you, it TOOK OFF!
We booked ALL of the timeslots within just a few days!! I called in a friend to see if she could help me photograph the sessions: she said yes, so, I opened all the time slots again and they booked up just as fast the second time around!
You read that correctly – You guys sold out the Back to School Portrait Day at Argitopia Farm TWICE!
And it was such a blast! It was all hands on deck … my family all came and helped me out! Mom oversaw greeting & check in, Caitee & Daniel were photographer assistants, and Dad was on juice box duty! A well-oiled machine if you ask me!
I loved seeing all of you bring your littles ones all dressed and ready for school to start! You could tell some were a little nervous to be in front of the camera, but it didn’t take long for them to warm up. They all did so good and have some seriously talented modeling skills!
And it was over before we knew it! Thank you to everyone who came and roughed the heat for a few minutes! My hope is that this event was a blessing to you all and gave you a photo of your little one at the start of this new year that you will cherish for years!
