Candice and Joel’s private estate Scottsdale wedding was absolutely beautiful! Candice is by far one of the sweetest, gentlest, and kindest brides. All wedding days have their moments of stress, but even in the midst of it, Candice and Joel so were thoughtful and aware of others you would have never even known. The way they paused to talk to each other’s grandparents and their family and enjoy the moment with them was so sweet.
They were actually married a year ago during COVID. They decided to have a small quick wedding with just their pastor and a few special family members, but they promised after covid they would still have their wedding! And they did! They were married on their one-year anniversary! I have loved seeing all the ways couples have worked around and become creative with getting married in 2020.
Candice and Joel met at a young adult’s group at church a couple of years back with Josh. They started dating and were just smitten with each other! Josh officiated their wedding and shared all those first few years of dating. It’s amazing how they have honored the Lord through their relationship from the beginning. I just know they will have such a fruitful and life-giving marriage for many more years to come!
And Joel is actually a photographer himself, so it made the day a breeze since the two of them really prioritized photos. And they were so open and trusting of location choices and lighting and we got so many stunning portraits of them!! They had a beautiful private estate wedding in Scottsdale. Their neighbor even let us take photos in their greenhouse. And it was just beautiful!! It was a joy second shooting for Cami Facer, as always!
