Astha’s Arizona desert senior session was absolutely beautiful! This was my third time having Astha in front of my camera! We met when I took photos for a group of her friends before their prom a year ago or so. And then, we did a mini session for her 18th Birthday in the fall and now her SENIOR photos! And let me tell you, she was an old pro in front of the camera… Astha’s session was a breeze!!
I’m always so amazed and impressed with Astha! She is by far one of the kindest and sweetest girls I have ever met. I noticed that she holds herself so confidently and gracefully and she is so self-sufficient. Astha is a joy to be around. I’m always excited when she reaches out for photos!
To give you a peek behind Astha’s Arizona desert senior session, we spent most of the time speed shooting with the glowy light while the sun was out and then quick outfit changes in between big, dark rain clouds. So glad the clouds parted for long enough for us to still get some really beautiful photos of Astha in the glowy desert!
Ashta said that she is hoping to head to the east coast for college and so she really wanted her senior photos to showcase the beautiful desert that she grew up in. I love when clients choose to have their session at places that are more meaningful and special. That’s really how you make photos that leave your legacy and tell your story. For years to come, where ever life ends up taking her, she will have photos in the beautiful Arizona desert to remind her of home.
I’m really grateful for clients that really feel more like friends than clients. Astha and I chatted the whole session about everything from clothes, Taylor Swift, her plans for after she graduates, and so much more! And everything she would tell me left me even more impressed with her. And it turns out she is even the student president at GCA!
