Natalie and Steven’s wedding was so beautiful! It was at the Golf Club at Johnson Ranch and the grass on the golf course had just come in and the weather was absolutely perfect! The sun was out and shinning and yet and there was a nice breeze so it was still cool! (Otherwise known as a DREAM in Arizona!)
You can tell the whole family is so excited for Natalie and Steven! I had a little conversation with Natalie’s mom and she was sharing about how Natalie is the baby of 5 in the family and the last to get married! I can only imagine how that would feel for a mom! What a sweet season for their family! You could tell just by talking to her that she is so excited to welcome Steven into the family!
Steven’s sister officiated the wedding! What an honor! And she did such a good job! I love it when couples have someone close to them officiated their wedding, she was able to share all these little peeks into what their relationship has looked like over the last FOUR years of dating! And her and Steven have the same quick humor so the ceremony a blast!
During Steven’s vows he shared the story of how he fell in love with Natalie before they even met! They met at another wedding that he was a groomsman for and during the reception they served bruschetta. Later in the night he went to grab the last bruschetta and dropped it all over his nice white shirt.
Embarrassed and hoping nobody would notice, Natalie’s mom walked up and started poking fun of him. And then she said “You should meet my daughter; she just spilled her entire glass of wine on her dress.” And he thought, I think she could be the one!
I feel like that story perfectly describes their relationship and their wedding day! A really sweet couple, so excited for this next season of marriage and yet, they don’t take themselves too seriously!
I’m excited for them and glad to have been able to capture their day while second shooting with Lexy Popa! It was just beautiful! And the Arizona sunset over the Golf Club at Johnson Ranch was STUNNING! God really painted the sky for their wedding day! Enjoy scrolling through these photos!
