I might be biased, but this could be my favorite blog. Probably because I like the people in it best and it’s our family photos.
We have taken family photos every year since we were little.
My mom loves to hang them around the home and it feels so cozy and homey. She picked out the frames for our home once and every year she just adds the new picture in front of the old ones. It is so sweet to go back and flip through every picture and see how much we have changed and grown as a family over the years.
*Quick side thought: It makes me sad to think of all the photos just living in an online gallery and never being seen. If a picture brings you joy, print it out. Put it around the house and enjoy it all year round!
As a photographer, it has been really fun to gift my parents with photos for the last few years… but it is tricky to take a picture when you also have to be in them. I’m so grateful that Cami was happy to swap family sessions. You can see her beautiful desert session here!
Where Cami was so excited to have dreamy photos in the desert with all of the cacti, our family on the other hand loves photos with big green trees, a little pond, and bunches of grass. And boy did we get that, turns out you can find gorgeous green areas for family photos in Arizona!
