Ever wonder how photographers get pictures of themselves? We swap!
I met Cami at Brock & Sarah’s Styled Session a few weeks ago. We got talking and found we have such similar styles of photography. I reached out to see if she would like to swap family sessions and she was so excited to have a fresh set of Facer Family Photos in the Arizona desert!
Turns out Cami and her family have just moved to Arizona from Idaho a few months back! And they have completely fallen in love with the beautiful Arizona desert (even in the midst of our hottest summer yet!) I am so happy they were able to have photos of them surrounded by blooming cacti to remember this new and exciting season of life!
Working with Cami and her family was a breeze! I tell my clients not to worry, if they have never had experience in front of a camera before. I walk them through every step of the way so that their photos show their genuine joy, love, and personalities. But the Facer’s Arizona desert session was a completely different experience for me… you can tell right away that Cami’s a photographer!
Kayden, her husband, knew exactly how to stand, how to make the kids smile. He even knew how to pull Cami in close and whisper in her ear to get the perfect Cami laugh… He was a natural (or Cami has taught him perfectly)!
And Hallie, their 4 year old daughter, loved the camera! It was too cute watching her twirl around in her dress and even make picture requests! Beau is still too little to fully understand why this new girl is following them around with a camera. He was just happy to be outside playing with the family!
