You know that it is going to be a good wedding, when you walk up to the air b-n-b where the bride and bridesmaids are getting ready and you can hear the cheering, music blasting, and smell the hair spray floating through the air!! That pretty much sums up Kaitlon & Anthony’s wedding day!
Kaitlon and Anthony met in the back of an Uber. Anthony suggested they share an Uber since they were headed in the same direction. And she said, “It was love at first ride!”
Kaitlon & Anthony have the biggest heart for others! They treat everyone like family and it is one of the sweetest things! And they both LOVE to be the life of the party!! You can’t help but laugh when you are around them, they are so fun!! There were parts of the day where I would get lost just being a part of their fun day and watching the way they interacted with each other and their friends and family and almost forget that I was supposed to be photographing it! The two of them were able to get all of their guests up and partying in a matter of seconds. They started their reception with a surprise dance party after their grand entrance! They really know how to get a party started!!
And their ceremony at McCormick Ranch Golf Course was beautiful! During their ceremony, they stood on the green which overlooked the whole golf course and lake! And the Arizona weather was perfect!! Their ceremony was during golden hour which made everything so glowly and gorgeous!
Kaitlon’s mom had passed away when she was a freshman in college, which is absolutely heartbreaking, but it was so sweet to see the ways they honored her throughout the day. Kaitlon wore all of her mom’s jewelry and when she showed her stepdad, during a private first look with him, they both were in tears. Such a precious moment.
And then, Kaitlon’s brother officiated the wedding and shared all the ways that he loved his mom and how sweet it is to see that all those qualities are in Kaitlon. Between all of the toast, the memorial table, and the small ways they honored her, you can see just how present her mom was throughout the day. I can’t imagine going through a heartbreak like that. There were moments I couldn’t help but tear up behind my camera. But you can easily see how loved and supported Kaitlon and her family are in the midst of such a heartbreaking loss!
