Meet Addi – my first senior this spring! I took her brother Caden’s senior photos a year ago and was so happy they reached out for Addi’s senior photos this year!! I think it’s so funny, where Caden was really into the urban, busy city feel for his session, Addi couldn’t be more different. Her session was so sweet in nature, with lots of pretty greenery and blooms! I love that senior photos really capture who you are and can be so personalized for each senior. I think it’s sweet that you can really see Addi’s sweet and gentle personality through these photos.
I always arrive a few minutes early to my sessions to scout out the best lighting and spots to shoot. When I pulled up, the place was swarming with seniors taking prom photos! I was surprised to put it nicely. We had planned to start at 6 and at 5:45 seniors were coming in car loads! After a few minutes of brainstorming a solution and scouting out little hidden spots to shoot at, I figured there were a few ways I could hide the crowd in the photos. But by the time Addi arrived at 6 most all of the seniors had cleared out and left for their dinner reservations. I was shocked… It could not have played out more perfectly. And Addi’s senior photos, are so sweet and dreamy you would never have any idea just how crazy it was!
As I was chatting with Addi during her session, she was telling me all about how she is actually already a sophomore in college. She took early college classes in high school and was able to finish her full first year of college before she graduated! Which is amazing! I’m so excited for her and this next season of life! Congrats, Addi!!
